Are My Taxes Paid With My Mortgage Payment?
Mortgage companies often pay your Escrowed taxes and they pay within the discount period. Please forward your tax bill to them, as soon as you get it. Contact your mortgage company's escrow department with any questions or to verify payment within our discount period.
The Council Rock School District Occupation Tax is NOT escrowed by any mortgage company and must be paid by residents directly. A separate bill is sent once per year for this tax. Please pay this immediately to prevent collection attempts.

While we at the the Northampton Township, Bucks County Tax office send this bill and receives payments, that's where our involvement ends. Contact the Council Rock School District Occupation Tax office with any question unrelated to payment.

How do I Obtain a Northampton Township Tax Certification?
If you're a title company or a bank and would like a tax certification, please do the following:
- Mail a $45.00 Check or Money Order to:

- Include the Property Address and/or Parcel Number and any other identifying information that will help us get you the correct Tax Certification. Include your Fax #.
We will Fax Tax Certification upon receipt of payment.
Once we receive your payment, we will immediately Fax the tax certificate to you .

How Do I Get Removed or Reevaluated for the Occupational Taxes?
If you are retired, a full-time student, are unemployed or have moved, please contact the Council Rock School District at (215) 944-1090 or email to taxoffice@crsd.org to be removed or reevaluated for occupational taxes.
Our office only handles sending the bills and receiving the payments. The Council Rock School District handles the rest.

If you receive a letter from G. H. Harris Associates, we are unable to assist you. Please contact GH Harris directly at (570) 639-5005. They may have you listed as not paying a prior year of Occupational Taxes. Contact G. H. Harris using the info below.

I Haven't Paid Real Estate Taxes in Prior Years. What Should I Do?
If you have not paid your real estate taxes in prior years, please contact the following:
- For Council Rock School District, please contact Portnoff Law Associates at (866) 211-9466.
- For Bucks County and Township Real Estate Taxes, please call the Bucks County Tax Claim Bureau at (215) 348-6274. If your bill includes a Refuse fee (Trash), then you must call the Township building at (215) 357-6800 and pay that bill separately, to the township building.
